Serious Question for Anti-Vaxxers

Moderna’s mRNA cancer vaccine works even better than thought

Are the anti-vaxxers going to refuse this? Campaign against it?

But for the sane, more good news from Science!    :-)

Matt - Always wondered how ethical vegans not only accept the vax, but in your case, actually PROMOTE the vax. Unlike you "sane" people, some of us might argue that the vax is about as unvegan as it gets. Vaxes are created from animals, most contain animals and (I believe) are thoroughly tested on animals. Or do vegans get a pass for being non vegan when it comes to Big Pharma and vax? Sort of reminds me of an acquaintance that explained her fur coat buy saying that when she was a kid they had saved a raccoon. Just wondering.

Nice to hear from you, John. I'm not "Vegan" (https://www.mattball.org/2022/07/in-case-it-isnt-clear-am-not-vegan.html) so your questions don't apply to me. As I lay out in "Losing My Religions" (and throughout my blog, I want to reduce suffering more than I cause suffering. What labels someone else uses for anything is irrelevant to me.
Take care and stay warm - our best to Fany!

Okay, thanks for that, Matt. I don't agree, but I follow how you arrive at your point.

I can imagine many vegans have a general caveat that if it concerns "staying alive" (like in the case of vaccines) they are allowed to use animals, but since they can generally stay alive by eating plants, choose to do that.

This sort of puritanical argument is often used to criticise ethical behaviour, by people who want to justify their own unethical behaviour.
