Buried in a newsletter filled with doom and gloom was this:
An update this week to the global Multidimensional Poverty Index (MPI) found that 25 countries had halved their global MPI values in just 15 years, with India seeing 415 million people exiting poverty. It’s a reminder that extreme poverty is neither permanent nor irreparable.
