Last pictures from the Keys (including our smallest National Park)

Tears for Fears: Secret World
(From their forgotten but fantastic "Everybody Loves a Happy Ending")

This and the next are a rare Cuban palm.

"Boats" (if you can call them that) from the Mariel boatlift. Terrifying.
We are so fortunate to have been born here.

Strangler figs are so interesting.

Two pelicans.

Chickens roam all over Key West.

San Francisco east.

Truman spent a lot of time in Key West. Better than Missouri!

More chickens!

Getting on the seaplane to Dry Tortugas National Park.
I hadn't even heard of it until a few years ago.

Key West from the copilot seat. You can see some of the blob of seaweed.

One of the wrecks we saw. Anne saw sharks, many sea turtles, and a ray; I only saw a few turtles (bad eyesight).

Our great pilot Kris, banking so I can see another wreck (out his side window there)

Approaching Dry Tortugas - an abandoned fort on the far side and a bird sanctuary closer. Lighthouse in distance.

From the wall looking into the fort.

Anne saw this picture.

Just about to get back on board the plane.

If you found this useful, please share it. Thanks so much!
