I didn't take a camera with us when snorkeling at John Pennekamp State Park in Key Largo, so I've stolen these pictures from around the intertubes.
I have snorkeled a number of places, including Pennekamp ~33 years ago. But earlier this month was truly magical. Like being in a BBC nature special, or in someone's giant, unbelievable aquarium. At times the thought came to me: "This can't be real. This can't really be happening."
Just ... beyond words. When they say "buy memories not things," this is what they mean.
Barracuda! (video) This is the best video I've found so far. We swam with loads of barracuda, and thousands of fish from dozens of species.
