Responsible people shied away from talking about the lab-leak hypothesis not because we thought it was impossible. It was because we knew it would unleash a wave of harassment and violence (and probably murder) against people of Asian descent.
I hope that with the latest news, the mouth-breathers' anger will be directed against the media and not Asian Americans. More.
