The United States will never take truly meaningful action on climate change. It is very simple: not enough people are willing to make any meaningful sacrifice. As soon as gas prices go up a bit, Democrats' approval goes down, and Republicans take power. We've seen that again in Biden's approval in the past year.
Also, people like Joe Manchin and one of my senators are simply whores: Kyrsten Sinema courted Republican fossil fuel donors with filibuster stance; Manchin's Coal Corruption Is So Much Worse Than You Knew.
So we should really stop screaming about the need to stop climate change and get ready for the hotter world.
