Incivility and Vegans (but not together!)
I'm quoted in this article by the Washington Post about the vegan lawsuit against Burger King. I am happy to announce that, as of right now, every single one of the many comments on my FB post regarding this has been positive. It really is just a subset of vegans that make the rest of us look bad!
(I would also like to note that almost every time I'm at the grocery store, people behind or ahead of me are buying meat. The latest time I was at Safeway, the woman in front of me was buying at least ten pounds of pork and beef.)
I also wanted to share this article I came across regarding "civility." It strikes just the right tone, IMHO.

Hi Matt,
Thank you for your piece in the Washington Post. I'm on the same page.
Such that I've started a petition on behalf of Vegans and Vegetarians thanking Burger King for introducing the Impossible Whopper.
As you've noted - and I note in the petition - the audience for the burger is not so much Veg*ns as the millions of others who could try the burger and thus help animals.
Here's the link to the Change.org petition.
