A potential gift for you: Lyle Lovett

Lyle Lovett's song (from the album of the same name) "The Road to Ensenada" plays a big part in the last section of Losing My Religions. 

But Lyle is a truly wonderful singer / songwriter (and actor, in the fabulous Short Cuts - what a cast!!). The other song in Losing: "Good Intentions."

One that could be my theme song (except the food involved): "Nobody Knows Me." (Song great, video not so much.)

And two to give you a sense of his sense of humor. "Record Lady" (starts with funny story).

"If I had a boat." 

"Pants is overrated" (makes me laugh every time, and they are having such a good time!)
